    Hi

I keep speaking with my delivery specialist, first conversation my MS was going to be delivered late May for pickup June 2nd. Then it slipped to June 9th and we pencilled in the 16th as delivery due to other commitments. Today the delivery specialist said it won’t be ready until 22nd June. I will be unable to pick it up if that is the date until early July (and I told the delivery specialist this when we first talked) Obviously Tesla want me to pick it up so they get the revenue and recognition in Q2.

Anyone have a similar situation? Can the delivery specialist actually influence this date at all? Anyone know what happens if I can’t take delivery ?

The specialist had the nerve to say have you got a friend or family member to pick it up if you sign all the paperwork! This really upset me, would you want to be the 2nd person to drive the car after spending $100k?

Sorry for the rant, frustrated and concerned as the T&Cs say I have to take delivery within 2 weeks of delivery to the center. I will be out of the country if it arrives the time they say.

Sorry to hear of your problem, I had a similar issue with my car with it arriving just when I was about to leave the country. Tesla held the car and I picked it up when I returned. The delivery process is fun, I wouldn’t want a friend or family member to pick it up either.
