I'm a brand new Tesla owner. Recently took delivery of a 2017 S75D. Obviously I love it and it's a game changer in so many ways! I'm looking for advice on wether to purchase the extended warrantee for $4250! Evidently I have until 1month or 1k miles to opt for that amazing offer! Generally speaking I never buy those things but with this car I'm tempted. I live in extreme upstate NY and I'm 100miles from nearest service center which is in Montreal Canada! If this thing has a significant problem I do not think my local mechanic is going to be much use to me! Anyone have any and thoughts?

    I have a 2013 Models S that I picked up new in November 2013.

It has over 86k mile and I bought the warranty.

Was it a good investment? Have you (expect to) use a lot ($4k worth) of service between 50k miles and 100k?

Welcome to the forum and enjoy. Share, rate & exchange, it’s great! :)
And of course, congrats on effectively joining the T≡SLA owners family! Impatiently waiting for Model 3 on the other side of the pond to do the same... ;)
