Received my Model X one month ago. Lovin' it.
Three years ago I dropped my 5 grand down on the coming model X. The year before that I had started building my own Ludicrous electric hot rod. Recently Jack Rickard (evtv.me) mentioned Tesla battery packs available on ebay, so I looked. While there I found a model X electric power steering unit ~ and I snatched it up for my project.
It looks simple enough - but I would like to get more info on this specific part. Tesla Service told me their lips are sealed. Anyone know where "shop"-level data on model X might be found? Or anyone know of someone who's gone deeper into the model X and has some info they can share?
    Thanks*

Went to manufacturer, Bosch, and found enough general data to go ahead and break the seller's steering input shaft seal (nobody moves nobody gets hurt), put 12v to the blades and see if it works without the extra inputs.
